The Frazer Theatre Comedy Club is set to unveil its special Christmas show.
Run in association with Harrogate’s successful Sitting Room Comedy Club,, the show will star Seymour Mace (Dave’s One Night Stand, Johnny Vegas’ Ideal and Chris Ramsay’s Hebburn), Stephen Carlin (Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience), BBC New Comedy finalist Pete Otway with MC Ian Smith.
To be held on Friday, December 19, headliner Seymour Mace has been described by Sitting Room supremo Tom Taylor as “crackling with childish energy, getting caught in flights of fancy and going off on strange tangents but never losing sight of the gag.
As a City Life Comedian of Year he shares a title with Peter Kay, John Bishop and Jason Manford, an impressive pedigree, indeed.
He appeared on Johnny Vegas’ episode of Dave’s One Night Stand and in north-east sitcom Hebburn but he’s also instantly recognisable to anyone who watched BBC’s Ideal where he starred alongside Vegas.
Support comes from BBC New Comedy Award finalist Pete Otway and Ian Smith who was hailed by The Times as “fantastically funny.”
Located off High Street behind Tescos, as if all that wasn’t enough to kickstart Christmas celebrations, there will also be mulled wine and mince pies for sale at Frazer Theatre.
