North Yorkshire’s Deer Shed Festival simply gets better each year.
Held from July 25-27 at Baldersby Park near Topcliffe amid the deer and their beautiful grazing land, this year’s line-up gets better with each announcement.
Having already unveiled the big names such as Johnny Marr, British Sea Power, Stornoway, Cate Le Bon , Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip and Miles Hunt and Erica Nockalls, this genuinely independent, family-run and family friendly weekend festival has now revealed a few more of its up-and-coming indie acts.
Included on the bill are Slow Club, Paper Aeroplanes, The Fauns, Annie Drury, Happyness and Buffalo Skinners.
Organised by music fans who also have children themselves, alongside a huge array of live music acts, Deer Shed 5 also promises workshops and science programmes, comedy and cabaret shows, cinema and spoken word.
As befits an event rapidly becoming the Latitude of the North, organisers have added a whole new section this year – literature.
