Iconic indie music night Charm is back in Harrogate in spectacular form for the first time in eight years.
A live gigs offshoot of cult music mag Charm, it was orginally launched in 1998 and became renowned for bringing the likes of Wild Beasts, Gruff Rhys, I Like Trains, This Et Al and The Grammatics to Harrogate.
To be held at at Major Tom’s on Thursday, March 26 at 7.30pm, it’s a ticket-only affair with exciting Leeds band Cowtown, brilliant Dan Webster of Birdman Rallies, visuals from VJ Quadrod and free food from Dicky’s Famous Buffet.
A pulsating indie rock band in an era of playing it safe, Cowtown seem to distill the sense of fun and community that is ingrained in DIY music in Leeds.
Regulars on stage at Brudenell Social Club, their most recent album Dudes vs Bad Dudes appeared on The Audacious Art Experiment label.
Dan Webster’s celebrated inventive pop is well represented by The Birdman Rallies new album Real River.
