On November 12 at 7.30pm they take to the stage at the Majestic Hotel in the town for a concert of traditional classics and pop-based hits, sponsored by local firm CNG. The audience will include the Mayor of Harrogate, Nick Brown and his wife Linda.

“We’re delighted that CNG have sponsored this special concert,” explained Harrogate Parkinson’s UK branch Chairman Renee Dickinson. Sadly one of our members Lynne Gardner recently died. Two of her family work for CNG.”

Renee added: “When they explained how we’d help to take Lynne out to events and lunches, the company volunteered to help fund this amazing concert.

“We’re hoping it will be as popular as the highly enjoyable Ripley Blues concert they also sponsored earlier this year.”

All funds raised will go towards helping to change attitudes towards Parkinson’s and find a cure for the disease.

“I can’t wait to hear the rich, glorious tones of Harrogate Male Voice Choir again,” added Renee.

“They are a lovely bunch of lads and we’re lucky to have them. I always tell them they’re the best boy band I know.”
