Weetons in Harrogate have launched a recipe competition online for budding chefs to enter their favourite recipes for the chance to see their recipe on the next Weetons Restaurant menu.
After the closing date on midnight Sunday, August 25, all recipes will be put to the vote through Weetons Facebook andTwitter sites.
The top three finalists will be invited to an exclusive judging evening at Weetons Harrogate where Weetons chefs will prepare the finalists dishes and a group of judges will decide on the winning recipe.
Prizes also include a £150 Hamper and a £50 voucher to spend online or in store.
Weetons has also become the first retailer in Yorkshire to stock Rosemary Shrager’s Biscuits which raise funds for the Artisan Bakery for ex-servicemen at Catterick Garrison. The development happened partly through James Murray, an officer in the RIFLES, who has been helping Weetons develop its brand and business strategy since leaving the army.
