Town preparing for Devil’s Arrows Festival

The Devil’s Arrows Festival takes place in the Boroughbridge area later this month.

A series of events inspired by the historic monument on the outskirts of the town will be held during the week of Saturday, June 25, to Saturday July 2.

It will include guided walks around the historic sites of Boroughbridge, an archaeological finds day, a ‘Devil’s Arrows’ garden model competition, and an exhibition of stories, poems, paintings, models, photographs, and embroidery about the arrows.

The week ends with a gala concert and supper at Coronation Hall in Milby on July 2.

For more details or to take part in any of the activities, including the concert, telephone 01423 325808, visit the Yore Vision website, e-mail or pick up a leaflet in a shop.
