Art in the Mill’s illuminating show for winter

Art in the Mill in Knaresborough has launched its Winter Exhibition.

Called Lighting the Way, gallery owner Elaine Grinter has chosen paintings by Ian Jarman, Steve Capper, Mark Sofilas, Alan Knight, Shirley Hudson, Jane Burgess, Heather Dormer, Neil McBride, David Bez, Keith Mountain, as well as fused glass designs by Sally Page and Eva Gorska and the popular tea-light lanterns including the latest design of Whitby by Kate Lycett.

Also in the show at this attractive contemporary northern art gallery several stories high tucked away in Green Dragon Yard in Knaresborough is work by Karen Mills, whose stunning painted designs on silk enhance the natural shimmer and lustre of the fibres.

For the first time, Janis Haves will exhibit contemporary glass pendant chandeliers, table lamps and bedside lamps - beautifully designed and bespoke ones made by hand.
