Horrible Histories was scheduled to bring its live action version of Barmy Britain to the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate just before Easter in six weeks time.

Hide AdThe British children’s live-action historical and musical sketch comedy television series, based on the best-selling books of the same name by Terry Deary, was due to take place as a 'Car Park Party' at the centre, based at the Great Yorkshire Showground on April 3, before moving on to Harewood House on April 5.
But organisers said today that, due to the timing of Prime Minister's new four-stage timetable for easing restrictions out of lockdown, they have had to move all shows in the tour originally planned to happen before April 12 to a new date.
Most of the events have been rescheduled but the Barmy Britain date in Harrogate has now been cancelled altogether.
Tickets holders have been notified of the changes but tickets are still available via www.carparkparty.com.

The Harrogate show would have see families sitting in their cars watching actors on stage and on a large screen while listening live on their radios and, if so inclined, honking their horns in appreciation.
The Birmingham Stage Company has produced 18 Horrible Histories live shows in total, touring the globe as well as the UK.
