Hide AdCalled Yeah!, the new track by the Knaresborough-based multi award-winning music producer/DJ, filmmaker and author Rory Hoy is a typically upbeat dance floor burner.
Big beat and house maestro Hoy himself describes the track as an "old school funky disco house tune with a catchy hook - a bit Daft Punk-esque."
As man who is as at home on BBC Radio 6 Music's The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show as he is on Harrogate Community Radio, Hoy had no fear of sending Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim, Fatboy Slim his new single.
And the hitmaker behind the likes of Praise You and The Rockafeller Skank, replied to Rory thus: " your new single sounds ace.”

Hide AdIt's a positive step for Rory who, like many musicians, has laboured under the lockdown and the restrictions of Covid.
But he feels that music is now starting to come alive once more.
Rory said: "I am feeling a lot more optimistic with the news of the vaccine and more hopeful for my DJ-ing future
"I must admit, I withdrew a little as so many of my DJ pals were all ‘Doom and Gloom’ and so I’ve been a little quiet with everyone on the e-mail/text/WhatsApp scene.
