Two young divers maintained the region’s recent history of silverware by claiming medals at the ASA National Age Group Diving Championships last month.
Five divers aged 11-14 from Harrogate District Diving Club descended on Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield to battle it out with competitors from 25 other diving clubs.
Harrogate’s divers were on top form and won two medals in the girls Group B competition and narrowly missing out on a third.
Rosie Wilson Burrell took bronze for Harrogate with a massive new PB of 248.95, 0.2 points behind silver medallist Millie Fairhurst-Marshall from City of Sheffield Diving Club.
