Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver wants to add fire-power to his squad in the close season to sustain a promotion challenge.
Town fell down 2-1 on Tuesday night as play-off hopefuls Guiseley struck a late winner.
Weaver also said he hoped Michael Woods would stick around at the CNG after another inspirational performance saw the midfielder claim the man of the match prize.
Weaver said: “The last few game we’ve been fantastic at home but we haven’t capitalised.
“We haven’t converted nearly as many as we should have done.
“We should have won more games this season but it’s a case of a lack of a ruthless edge in the final third.
