Harrogate Town’s crunch Blue Square North match against play-off rivals FC Halifax Town has been called off due to the heavy snow.
The pitch at the CNG Stadium was covered by the snow after blizzards hit the area on Friday morning.
An inspection was held at the ground at 1pm on Friday and the referee decided the pitch was unplayable with further snow forecast overnight.
A new date for the match has yet to be decided.
It looks likely the rearranged match will take place on a Thursday evening with both sides already facing a congested end of season fixture list.
Town travelled to Halifax on a Thursday night earlier in March and won 2-1 thanks to goals from Paul Bolland and Matt Bloomer.
Saturday’s postponement will mean Adam Bolder is now suspended for Saturday’s clash at Bradford Park Avenue, as well as Wednesday’s clash at Solihull Moors.
The midfielder was suspended for two matches after picking up 10 yellow cards this season.
Meanwhile, Harrogate RUFC have urged supporters to bring a shovel to their Claro Road ground tomorrow to clear the pitch before their top of the table clash against Chester.
Harrogate Hockey Club have called off all their home matches.
Boroughbridge and Ripon’s League Cup quarter-final remains on at the moment with an inspection to be made on Saturday morning.
