Lawrence Hunter’s last minute strike secured Harrogate Railway three precious points against Northwich Victory at Station View on Monday night.
Hunter blasted the ball home from close range to earn an injury time winner for Railway as they beat their Cheshire rivals 2-1.
Jesus Martin-Farina put Railway in front after seven minutes after converting Rob Youhill’s pinpoint cross.
The visitors levelled through frontman Gary Burnett 25 minutes into the second half.
But Railway fought to the end and Hunter’s final minute goal settled the encounter at the death.
The win moved Railway up to 13th in Evo-Stik First Division North and produced an instant reverse of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Burscough.
