Harrogate Railway face another busy week of football, visiting Prescot Cables in the league on Saturday before Tuesday’s hosting of Barnoldswick in the West Riding County Cup (7.45pm).
Meantime, boss Billy Miller was viewing his own ‘video nasty’ this week as he attempted to get to the root of Harrogate Railway’s current woes.
Beaten 6-1 at home by Burscough on Saturday and 2-0 by Ramsbottom on Tuesday, Miller was keen to see the film of the game so he could get to grips with his side’s problems following their fifth defeat on the bounce at Station View.
Miller, whose side face Prescot Cables on Saturday, explained: “It’s the first time we’ve used video at Railway but a number of the sides at our level are using the tool.
“We are concerned about our league place and form, but not too worried as we’ve played sides in the top 10.
“I’ll be editing the video down into 10-minute films we can then give to the players concerned to watch.”
Rail’s novel approach comes in the wake of a disappointing run of form which has seen them plummet to 20th in the Evo-Stik North Division One.
But Miller insisted: “The table won’t take shape until every side has played 15 games.
“Our points return isn’t bad at the moment and the one thing we shouldn’t do is panic. “
