Williams opens his Town account in home success over Brighouse
The striker, who joined from Brackley Town in the summer, netted a quick-fire brace to help Simon Weaver’s men overturn a one-goal deficit and beat Brighouse Town 3-1 on Tuesday evening.
The Evo-Stik League first division outfit took a ninth-minute lead when Aaron Martin got on the end of a cross from the left and diverted the ball past Harrogate gloveman Joe Cracknell.

Hide AdParity was restored five minutes before the interval, Williams displaying a predatory instinct to sweep home at the back post.
Just moments later, Williams struck again, converting Lloyd Kerry’s lofted ball from six yards out.
Town went close to extending their lead on a number of occasions before actually doing so in the 83rd minute.
Substitute Dominic Knowles registered for the third time in as many pre-season appearances to put the result beyond doubt, slotting in after Jack Muldoon had skinned his man and produced a dangerous ball.
Next up for Town is their biggest test of the summer, a visit from League One Bradford City, 3pm kick-off on Saturday.
