Price promise as owner of new Harrogate restaurant reveals plans for The Cat's Pyjamas
Historic Harrogate shop to closeAlison White, owner of The Cat’s Pyjamas restaurant chain revealed this week how she was set to move into the vacant position left by Prezzo on Albert Street.
With branches already open in Headingley, Leeds and York, she is hopeful that the people of Harrogate will enjoy her special take on Indian cuisine.

Hide AdPrezzo announced its closure this week, the news was then closely followed by reports of its replacement, with the Cat's Pyjamas hoping to be open by the end of August.
“We are working hard to secure as many jobs as we can from the closure of Prezzo and do hope that we can bring something new to the high street,” she said.
“I haven’t inflated my prices for Harrogate like many do and no dish is over £10.

The Headingley, Leeds and York restaurants have proven extremely popular with a typical menu including the likes of Punjabi tandoori chicken, coconut chilli prawn curry and the usual chicken tikka massalla and lamb rogan josh.

Italian specialist Prezzo was inititally spared from closure back in March when the chain announced that 94 branches would close nationwide.

Hide AdHowever, staff were informed this week of the Harrogate restaurant’s demise and it closed its doors for the last ever time on Tuesday.
The Cat’s Pyjamas is also planning new branches in Sheffield and Wakefield.
