Palace date to reward students
The pair were there to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
While at the Palace they were presented with a plaque to recognise the West Yorkshire school’s commitment to the award and the successes of Wetherby students who have achieved success in the scheme which encourages young people to do community activities and work towards bronze, silver and gold levels.

Hide AdHRH Prince Edward talked to the group about how important the award is to him.
Mr Dinsdale said he was proud of the school’s Duke of Edinburgh’s Award students.
“The school is now looking forward to helping even more students achieve this prestigious award and have a great and truly memorable time in the process,” said a Wetherby High spokesman.
