Letter: Thanks to all who made Bed Race a success

May I, through your paper, thank everyone who helped to make the Great Knaresborough Bed Race another success.

We cannot do it without all of those people who help us and you all know who you are, too many to mention as it would take up the whole page of the paper.

Yet again we were lucky to have a fine day even if it did rain after the event.

Thank you also to the people who came and cheered everyone on, both in the parade and the race itself.

And also to the residents of the town who were so co-operative.

I hope everyone enjoyed their day - I certainly did - and now we can all enjoy a long earned rest.
