Sue Fryatt Jewellery Exhibition: at the Blue Light Gallery, Little Market Place on Thursday, December 19,10am-3pm. Overtime, Sue has become interested in the way jewellery is made so joined jewellery-making classes and learnt how to work with different materials and use different techniques. One of her favourite materials to work with is silver. Peak Military Fitness: Masham Market Place, today from 6.55-8pm. Outdoor boot camp, improved health and fitness, weight loss and toning. All fitness levels welcome, first session is free. 07834 015152.

Festive Woodland Trail with Santa: at The Bivouac, High Knowle on Saturday, December 21, 10am-4pm. He will be in his Grotto just off the café. To do the woodland trail and visit Santa the cost is £6 per child and adults free. Price includes Festive Woodland trail and Father Christmas gift. Come and join in the fun.

Pocket Panto – Dick Wittington: in Masham Town Hall, Sunday, December 22, 1-3pm. This show is suitable for all ages and is aimed very much at a family audience. Packed to the gills with fun, laughter and happy ever after. 01765 680200. Tickets £6.

Holy Communion: is celebrated at St Mary’s Church Masham on Sunday, December 22 at 8am and 10.45am. Evensong is replaced by a carol service at North Stainley at 6.30pm. Christmas Eve, 4pm Christingle service, 11.30pm Midnight Mass. Christmas Day services at 8am and 10.45am.

Church Services: Masham Methodist Church. Nativity service with Heather Garbutt on Sunday, December 22 at 10.30am. Christmas Day at 10.30am Christmas Family Service.

Mashamshire Community Office calendar: limited supplies of the 2014 calendar featuring 12 photographic images of scenes in and around Masham are available from the office for £6.99. All funds go towards the running costs of the office. These are ideal Christmas presents. Also still available are the Masham tea towels and a limited number from the sheep fair, cost is £5 each. RNLI Christmas cards are also now in stock.
