New Year at Bivouac: All the fires lit around the barns, a large luxury buffet throughout the evening and the Ouse Brothers coming to play with a DJ for afters. Talk, one-to-one, with a guidance professional who can give you information and advice relating to exploring career options, adult educations courses, CV writing and job-search techniques. No need to book – just turn up between 2pm and 3pm on Thursday afternoons. Library volunteers always needed: Mashamshire Community Library is open from 10am-3pm, Monday – Friday and until 2pm on Saturdays. Late night opening on Wednesdays until 7pm. Easy access via a lift or stairs. 100 per cent volunteer run and staffed. Books, large print, audio books, dvds and local history information. Returns, renewals and reservations. We are always looking for more library volunteers. No experience needed, just a love of books and meeting people – training will be given. Short Walks in Masham: Age UK North Yorkshire supports volunteer walk leaders to deliver regular group walks for the over 50s around the Harrogate District.
