The teams who decide on where a Monopoly should go are always looking for towns or cities that take great pride in their area - we have that in abundance.
We're spoilt for choice when it comes to stunning historic buildings - too many to list, in fact.
From the Ripon hornblowers to the Ripon bellman, our city is steeped in history, and has some fascinating traditions to shout about.
We reckon the Workhouse Museum, Courthouse and Prison and Police Museum would make fab additions to the board - maybe players could go to jail at the prison museum
Ripon's used to welcoming visitors from across the country and the world, and has taken centre stage for many big events like Yorkshire Day and the Tour de Yorkshire. Monopoly would bring more great publicity.
