Delays in the area are expected to continue throughout the weekend the traffic is having a knock on affect on the A1 and the A658 ring road which are busier than usual.
Queues on the A61 are tailing back from Harewood to the junction with the A659 Otley Road.
Contraflow is in place on Buttersyke Bar roundabout, the A695 at junction 45, and on the Knaresborough bypass.
Game Fair visitors are being diverted away from Collingham where cars are being blocked from turning right up the A659 from the A59 to the A1, however the area is still incredibly busy.
