Harrogate Magistrates Court weekly round-up
Clare Tessa Davenport, 36, of 4 Harewood Road, Harrogate, was fined £40 for assault by beating at Asda in Harrogate. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.
James Fitzgerald, 37, of Flat 5, 9 Park View, Harrogate, was given a nine-month conditional discharge for resisting arrest. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £200.

Shaun Coulter, 20, of 10 Craven Street, Harrogate, was fined £265 for speeding and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £27 and costs of £85. Four points were added to his licence.
Scott Bradley, 28, of 7 Albany Avenue, Harrogate, was sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment for two counts of assault by beating and one of behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and was made subject to a restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim.
Natasha Richards, 22, of 6 Crescent Parade, Ripon, was given a nine-month conditional discharge for two counts of resisting a police officer. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.
