A women's beer festival which put Harrogate in the national spotlight is linking up with one of the town's most popular micro-breweries for a special day this weekend.

Women On Tap Festival, which successfully celebrated women and beer in a series of events held in May, is organising the musical entertainment for Harrogate Brewing Co's latest Tap Room weekend.

Located at Unit 7 Hookstone Centre at Hookstone Chase, the free to enter open days will see a range of beers from popular favourite Pinewoods Pale Ale to the even more popular Plum Porter on offer, as well as food and live music on the Saturday.

The latter has been chosen by WOT founder Rachel Auty and will include singer-songwriter Amy Griffiths plus Lauren & Dale who impressed at Harrogate bar Major Tom's in Harrogate as part of the Women On Tap festival and the recent Bedfest in Knaresborough.
