Grewelthorpe Women’s Institute: the November meeting was the birthday meeting and members enjoyed fruit cake and drinks in the village school. The December meeting will be held in the new village hall and members will decide which venue they prefer. Members were told that the quiz team had come second in the Federation Quiz, and the darts team lost out to Dallowgill. The speaker for the evening was Grewelthorpe member Barbara Bradley who spoke and demonstrated the art of Zentangles. She was thanked by Liz Witton.
