Music fans should take note that England's incredible progress in World Cup means the date of Harrogate's latest popular Vinyl Sessions has been changed.

Originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 11 at award-winning craft beer bar Starling Independent Beer & Coffee House on Oxford Street, the event will now happen next week instead - after a clash with England's semi-final match against Croatia..

The news is of particular note to Pink Floyd fans for the subject of the vinyl playback on state-of-the-art vintage hi-fi equipment next Tuesday, July 17 at 7pm will be the band's classic 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon.

Organiser Colin Paine said: "Due to the World Cup semi-final we have had to change the date. We cannot complete with football!
"Hopefully those that dropped out as a result of the game can now come. Our Eventbrite has taken care of reservations for the new date."

The last Vinyl Sessions night featuring legendary producer Ken Scott and David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album was completely packed.
Future Vinyl Sessions are expected to include the Grease soundtrack and Oasis's Definitely Maybe.

Entry is free but seat reservations are advised,

Donation are welcomed for the event's chosen charity - Harrogate Hospital and Community Charity.
