At least nine Ripon area schools are to close during tomorrow’s strike action.
North Yorkshire County Council has confirmed that schools across the county will be forced to close as teachers stay away tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30.
Boroughbridge Library is also to close as council employees join the walk out.
Ripon Grammar School and Bedale High School have both confirmed they are to close, along with a number of primary schools in the area.
Schools which have confirm they will be completely closed are:
Bishop Monkton Primary; Boroughbridge Primary; Burneston Primary; Holy Trinity Juniors, Ripon; Marton-cum-Grafton Primary; Ripon Cathedral Primary; Ripon Grammar School; Skelton Newby Hall Primary; St Wilfrid’s Primary, Ripon.
A number of other schools will be partially closed, while some have not yet announced whether they will be open to pupils.
