Staff at local nursery group Happy Jays are celebrating their fifth Investors in People recognition.
The nursery in Boroughbridge is owned by husband and wife team Jacqui and Tony Gernon who said they are delighted by the award.
Nursery manager Holly Gudgeon said:“Our aim has always been to provide the best quality childcare available to parents and to do this requires a firm commitment to continual staff development.
“All our staff undertake some form of professional training or career development programme and our approach is to complement their vocational qualifications with outstanding people skills.”
Investors in People assessor Jeff Law said in his report: “The team culture is top rate. People regard the nursery group as a great place to work and have a clear sense of commitment and pride in what they do.
“The supportive culture and coaching is excellent and children enjoy a high standard of play, education, learning and development.”
