SECONDARY school pupils have visited youngsters in Dishforth for a day of drama-inspired fun.
Year 9 drama students from Boroughbridge High School – along with their drama teacher Sarah Fawcett and science teacher Jo Rayner – were at Dishforth Primary School posing as scientists investigating a nest of giant eggs on the playing field which was surrounded by a police cordon.
The children then wrote reports about what they thought was inside the eggs and what had laid them.
Dishforth headteacher Sue Brooks said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed the mystery of the drama and the quality of the writing was superb because they had a real purpose.
“Thank you to headteacher Mrs Dixon from Boroughbridge High for releasing the students to come and help with our day.”
