CHILDREN at a Ripon pre-prep school have been learning about Ancient Greece.
In preparation for the Olympics later this year, pupils at Cundall Manor’s Pre-Prep School studied the origins of the games.
Activities involved making Greek dishes for a buffet lunch which included halloumi and vegetable kebabs, lamb and feta koftas and Greek salad.
The feast was served to parents who were attending and served outside in the sunshine.
Lunch was followed by a performance which involved the children dressed in toga-style oufits spelling out ‘Olympics’ with a story about the Ancient games., pictured right.
