Drunken woman restrained and arrested after Beulah Street disturbance

A drunken woman from Sheffield has been arrested following a disturbance at Beulah Street yesterday afternoon.

The 29-year-old woman was seen acting erratically outside the British Heart Foundation shop at around 4.40pm on Thursday, March 3.

Police arrived on the scene and restrained the woman on the floor outside the shop as she continued loudly shouting and swearing at officers.

After several minutes, more police cars, officers and a police van arrived to assist with the incident as horrified shoppers watched on.

The woman was eventually arrested and has been charged with being drunk and disorderly and obstructing police.
