Bag containing 'large amounts of cash' stolen in Harrogate town centre

A bag containing a "large amount of cash" has been stolen from a premises on Cheltenham Crescent.

The purple Karrimor rucksack was stolen between 12.30pm and 12.45pm yesterday and contained a large amount of cash, invoices, keys and a wallet.

Officers are carrying out enquiries, and are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, or has any information about the theft, to contact them.
