A RIPON couple are opening their garden to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme’s charity open days.
Margaret and David Rivers, of 24 Red Bank Road, off Whitcliffe Lane, Ripon will be opening their garden for viewing on two days, Wednesday, May 18, and Sunday, May 22, from 2-5pm.
The garden, which is one of 3,700 listed in the scheme’s ‘Yellow Book’ visiting guide, contains a selection of alpines, several species of peonies, perennials and shrubs.
There will also be a plant stall and tea and cakes. Admission is £2.50, children free,
