With less than three weeks to go before the deadline, entries to the 2015 Business Awards are coming in fast.
The awards, which are sponsored by Harrogate and Pateley Bridge estate agent Verity Frearson for the third year running, are open to businesses trading in the circulation area of the Harrogate Advertiser, Knaresborough Post, Wetherby News, Nidderdale Herald and Ripon Gazette.
One company that has already entered is WorldNet Telecom, a Harrogate-based business with a £5m turnover.
Sales director Michal Manaley said: “I entered WorldNet into the Small Business category because it’s the best company I’ve ever worked for and I thought it deserved the recognition.
“I also wanted more people to know about us. We’re looking to double our workforce over the coming year, so I’m hoping it will raise our profile and bring in a lot of CVs!”
Individual category sponsors include Leeds Bradford Airport, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, Berwins Solicitors, Si Recruitment, McCormicks Solicitors, Saffery Champness and Cicada Communications. The champagne reception on the night will be sponsored by CNG Ltd.
There are still three categories needing sponsors and interested companies are invited to get in touch.
The awards dinner will be held at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate on Thursday, April 30.
