Courier firm placed top in network distribution

Harrogate parcels firm Able Couriers Ltd has been named by the APC Overnight Network as the most successful of its 120 UK depots.

APC, of which Able is a founding member, recognised the company for achieving 100 per cent delivery over the past 12 months, with an average of 100,000 parcels. Able also demonstrated exceptional growth, a professional fleet, good working conditions and high customer satisfaction levels.

Paul Griffiths of Able, based on Camwal Road in Starbeck, said: “This award proves just how hard the team works to ensure a first class services is delivered at all times.”

APC started trading 1994, adding next day and overnight delivery to Able’s local and national distribution services. Since then, the business has helped £58m APC rank 66th in the Sunday Times PwC Profit Track 100 league of Britain’s top-performing private companies with the fastest-growing profits.
