Summer Fayre: Boroughbridge Manor had a fantastic day at the end of July for their summer fayre with many visitors and a great atmosphere. The organisers felt a great sense of support from the family and friends of the residents and the local community. The fun day included a barbecue, a raffle, kids’ corner, a tombola and stalls. Everyone at Boroughbridge Manor would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came and to the local businesses that donated a prize for the big raffle. An amazing £500 was raised and half of that money has been donated to Dementia Forward charity. The other half of the money will go to the Boroughbridge Manor residents’ fund and will be put towards trips out and activities, as well as helping to fund projects at the home, such as the sensory garden being creating for the dementia residents.
