New Harrogate beauty, health, & wellbeing centre offers aesthetics and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in Yorkshire

The Heal-Air
The Heal-Air provides Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT); a non-invasive treatment that involves relaxing in a specialist chamber whilst breathing in almost pure pressurised Oxygen.
HBOT has been used to treat a range of issues including chronic fatigue, skin conditions, migraines, wound healing, sports recovery and irregular sleeping patterns.
The Heal-Air began after co-founder, Tarra Hickson, was left struggling with symptoms of 'long covid'; including fatigue, muscle pains and brain fog. She tried various treatments and medication before discovering HBOT and finding it was the only therapy to make a difference.
The elevated amount of oxygen consumed, combined with the increased pressure helps the body absorb higher levels of oxygen into the bloodstream, brain cells, and nervous system. Exponents of the treatment say this helps accelerate and promote healing and can help fight infection, pain, or inflammation; providing a boost to the immune system, to the skin and to your mood and mental health.
The non-invasive therapy simply involves relaxing in a specialist chamber whilst breathing through an oxygen mask. Each session lasts for 60 or 90 minutes. The chambers have windows on all sides so you can see outside, a person will be outside the chamber throughout the whole process. Customers typically choose to watch a favourite TV series, listen to music, read a book or simply relax whilst the chamber works its magic.
