The peony border in the walled garden at Norton Conyers, Wath, is coming in bloom just in time for the open day on Sunday, June 17.
Sir James Graham said the peonies were rather late this year, possibly as a result of the erratic weather.
He said:” To our great delight they should be at their best on Sunday.”
The garden will be open from 2pm to 5pm and is suitable for disabled visitors. Dogs on a lead. Admission in £5.50 with children under 12 going free. Free parking available nearby. Unusual hardy plants will be on sale.
