New homes snapped up

All three homes within an exclusive new development in the centre of Pateley Bridge have been sold by Dacre, Son & Hartley in just three months.

The bespoke development of four bedroom houses, known as Skaife Row, stand at the top of the town’s celebrated High Street and were built by contractor HG1 Ltd for developer Mike Bower who lives nearby.

Dacre, Son & Hartley attracted significant interest in the homes, which have been bought by local people and buyers from further afield.

Sales negotiator, Alison Reilly, said: “The buyers really liked the fact the properties had been built using reclaimed stone from a former mill, that matches the traditional stone buildings found across Nidderdale, which makes them very visually appealing.”

Developer, Mike Bower, said: “We are delighted with how Dacres marketed these very special properties. They were very proactive and have excellent local knowledge.

“Their professional marketing and vast online reach meant we had plenty of people coming to view the properties, and I appreciated always being kept in the loop with the viewing and sale process.

“It’s a great result for this project, which has always been about creating something that our whole community can be proud of.”

The homes at Skaife Row are approached by a private driveway and each one has parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point.

Skaife Row was blessed by local Minister, Rev Mike Poole from the neighbouring Methodist Church after construction was completed.
