75 years anniversary for Bishopton Veterinary group and still going strong
Proud independent business, Bishopton Veterinary Group, has continued to celebrate its 75th anniversary year with a wide variety of events.
The practice has grown from shared accommodation with the local GP to a thriving multi-site surgery with branches at Northallerton, Pateley Bridge, Easingwold and a farm only centre in York.
The year kicked off with a Diamond Ball at the Pavilions in Harrogate which was attended by staff and current and retired partners.
Celebrating this special year with clients has been the priority. Northallerton opened its doors with a Tea ‘Paw’ty in May, followed by Ripon’s Open Day in June, September saw the Easingwold branch hold an Afternoon Tea Party followed by Team Pateley Bridge blitzing the local Nidderdale Show handing out goodie bags.
Partner and farm vet, Jonathan Statham, said: “we have had an amazing year celebrating our 75th anniversary and we are delighted that as part of our celebrations we have managed to raise a total of £6,000 for three amazing charities Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Farming Community Network and the Farm Safety Foundation.
“Thank you to all of our clients, friends and employees whose loyalty and support over the years has been invaluable.”
All the Open Days have been well attended with local Hawkstone Falconry putting on displays, fabulous local animal charities (Blue Cross, Jerry Green and Moor View Rescue) all out in force. Ladies in Pigs have showcased their delicious pork as well as educating and inspiring everyone to use the best British Red Tractor pork. Visitors have really been getting the lowdown on life at a forward-thinking veterinary practice.
