Pupils at Saltergate Primary School have been singing their hearts out to show their enormous gratitude, and have produced their own special cover version of 'Heroes' by Alesso ft Tove Lo.
In the moving music video, the children can be seen holding up a series of signs conveying important messages such as 'stay at home,' 'protect our NHS,' 'stay positive,' 'be kind,' and 'keep smiling.'

The video gives mention to key workers including carers, retail staff, social workers, postal workers, volunteers, charity workers, teachers, delivery drivers, doctors, nurses, the military, and all members of the emergency services.
Year 5 class teacher Sarah Bellerby said: "The kids have been absolutely amazing during this time of uncertainty. All the children are children of key workers, and each and every one of them comes in with a smile on their face despite this daunting time.
"It took nearly two days and 24 takes to create this video, but they remained resilient and enthusiastic as they were eager to spread joy and happiness across the school community & wider community too, as well as wanting to make others smile and show their thanks and appreciation to the NHS and other key workers. We really couldn’t be prouder of them during this time."
