“They have dealt with the Lateral Flow Testing and safety measures around school with maturity and consideration for others; we are so proud of how they have responded.

“Staff are pleased to be able to reconnect the students, learning and laughing together again.”

A Year 7 student explained her experience of returning to school: “Though lockdown had its pros and its cons it’s overall very fantastic to return back to school.

“There are many things in school that couldn’t happen at home like the activities held in coaching (eg fashion show, playing games, socialising with other year groups) that have made coming back to school very enjoyable.

“There also many other good things about coming back to school such as seeing your friends, being able to attend your favourite lessons that you couldn’t do properly during lockdown.”
