Due to the Covid pandemic, the usual Harrogate Town shop at their EnviroVent stadium has been closed since last year and supporters have been unable to buy scarves, kit and souvenirs in person at the ground on Wetherby Road.

The good news for fans is the club is opening a temporary pop-up shop on Commercial Street in Harrogate town centre from Monday, April 12 so that fans can visit and show their support.

The exciting news had been welcomed by Commercial Street Retailers who recently announced it would be working with Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation, an official charity working within Harrogate and District, supported by Harrogate Town AFC and the English Football League (EFL).

A spokesperson for the Commercial Street Retailers group said: “We will be donating money from the sale of our new street shopping bag, encouraging our member shops to have a Harrogate Town AFC collection box and encouraging our shops to show that they are ‘Proud to be Town’; by decorating Commercial Street in yellow and black for when they go to Wembley on May 3.”

Town’s pop-up shop is expected to be located at the former Nordium shop at 32 Commercial Street until April 17.
