Charity riders sought '¨for 2017 Pedalthon

Now in its fourth year, the ride will take place on Friday, May 12 and once again raise money for LandAid, the property industry charity working to end youth homelessness in the UK.

Last year’s ride attracted more than 300 riders and raised more than £15,000 for the charity – a target Carter Jonas hopes to exceed this year.

Supported by T&R Theakston Ltd, the ride will start and end at the historic Theakston brewery in Masham and riders will be given the choice of two rides – the 80 mile challenge or a 40 mile social ride.

Mark Granger, chief executive of Carter Jonas, said: “The day combines many things about which we are passionate: firstly showcasing Yorkshire, which is one of our key business centres; cycling, which some are perhaps more keen on than others; as well as networking and enjoying great local food and drink with colleagues and friends, all whilst supporting and raising money for LandAid.”

Until March 31 there is an early-bird entry fee of £50 per rider or £250 per team of six.
