On the back of more acclaim from the national press, Sitting Room Comedy Club returns next week in Harrogate with hour long shows from Andi Osho and Gavin Webster.
Osho has established herself as one of the country’s favourite comedians with appearances on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Stand Up for the Week.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Osho is performing just three UK previews of her new tour show before returning to America; one took place at the Southbank Centre earlier this month and appears for Sitting Room at the St George Hotel next Wednesday night.
Supporting Osho is circuit headliner, Gavin Webster, who will be previewing his new Edinburgh Fringe show, Don’t Give Any Money to Comic Relief and Other Opinions.’
Webster’s bold and provocative material is offset by his charming delivery and his previous two Fringe runs have not only sold out but become the must-see shows of the festival.
Sitting Room promoter, Tom Taylor, said: “Andi’s credits speak for themselves. She has very quickly become a household name and it is testament to the wonderful audiences we get at Sitting Room that she has chosen to preview her show here.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to see two comedians at the top of their games and all for just a tenner!”
Next Wednesday’s show (July 17) starts at 8pm and tickets are available from www.sittingroomcomedy.com or the venue’s reception.
