ONE of the stars of the TV hit Made in Chelsea is to play an exclusive night in Harrogate as her music career picks up heat.
The date in Harrogate on Tuesday, April 3 will see her play to a crowd of 500 at the Crown Hotel with support acts coming from some of the local rising stars of musical talent in Harrogate.
The night is being run by Harrogate company Ont’ Sofa team who are developing a platform for rising stars with nearly 30 self-produced live sessions on YouTube already which have attracted more than 60,000 views.
The third series of Made in Chelsea will air later in the month, but Caggie Dunlop has recently been spending time on her music by supporting Ron Pope.
Caggie said: “I am really delighted to be coming to Harrogate to perform later this month. The support acts look really great too; I have been checking some of them out online.”
Ont’ Sofa is the idea of Ben Davis aged 25 and Jason Odle aged 24, friends from school days and, now, business partners.
This will be the first live date the Ont’ Sofa team have put together, making it even more special.
Caggie writes her own songs as well as performing acoustic covers by artists like Rihanna, U2 and Goo Goo Dolls.
The 21-year-old attended The Harrodian School before going on to Wellington College in Berkshire and the Lee Strasberg Film and Theatre Institute in New York.
The local support acts include: Farrah, aged 17, from St Aidan’s School.
Lily Kerbey, who has received over 150,000 plays on YouTube and attends Ashville College
Lucy Borgen aged 17 of Harrogate Grammar School.
Youcef Preston, who has established a strong local following in both Harrogate and Leeds.
