They’re an orchestra known already for their ambition, imagination and vast size but, even by Harrogate Symphony Orchestra’s standards, their next concert promises to be truly special for fans of Tchaikovsky and Classic FM.
Taking place at the Royal Hall on Saturday, November 16, the HSO’s Winter Concert see them performing with the Aquarelle Guitar Quartet who will be giving their premier performance of a guitar concerto written especially for them by the world famous guitarist and composer Nikita Koshkin.
It’s the third time the HSO have invited the quartet to work with them.
Since the quartet’s first appearance, they have had successes all over the world, appearing frequently on Classic FM.
In addition to the Koshkin concerto, the programme also includes Semiramide - Rossini, Folias - Krouse (for solos guitars) and Tchaikovsky’s famous fifth symphony.
Tickets are available at Harrogate Theatre Box Office on 01423 502116 or book online at www.harrogatetheatre.co.uk
Please note, entry for under-11s is free at the HSO’s Winter Concert.
