New contemporary art from North Yorkshire artists across the region is available in an online art exhibition from Art Connections.

Called Winterlude, this curated selection of high quality art and craft is available exclusively online, delivered to art fans’ doors.

Curator for the exhibition, Grace Whowell, said: “The work is diverse in its subject matter and creation; each artist has a story to tell but it is evident that they are inspired by this amazing place, Yorkshire, in which they live and work.”

In total the online exhibition features an exclusive selection of paintings, prints and sculptures, precious jewellery, distinctive ceramics, glass, hand crafted textiles and wood by more than 30 artists.

Art Connections is run by Chrysalis Arts, an arts development agency based in Gargrave, North Yorkshire.

It was established in 2002 as a service providing marketing, information, professional development and other opportunities for visual artists based in York and North Yorkshire.

Winterlude runs until Sunday, January 11.
