A major retrospective exhibition of wildlife and sporting bronze sculpture by Sally Arnup is being launched today at a Harrogate art gallery this weekend.

The new show will open with a special preview at 108 Fine Art on Cold Bath Road on Saturday, June 27 from 1pm to 3pm.

The exhibition will be accompanied by the publication of a major catalogue for the new Harrogate show and the exciting news for her fans is that the artist herself will be coming to 108 Fine Art on Saturday, July 11 at 2pm to give a talk on bronze casting.

Despite having enjoyed an international reputation for decades, the veteran Arnup still works from her studio just outside York.

Other shows coming up at 108 include Alan Davie, Tim Shaw and a selection of British abstract artists.
