Artists around Ripon and Masham are throwing open their work spaces and taking part in North Yorkshire Open Studios on June 9-10 and 16-17.
In Copt Hewick, painter and mixed media artist Dorothy Thelwall will be taking part in the event from her home at Prospect House, Back Lane.
Her studios will be open from 10am-5pm on all four days, and visitors will be welcome to explore the garden.
Refreshments, produce and plants will be on sale in aid of Copt Hewick Village Hall, and there will be a large range of cards and postcards.
In Masham artists Charlotte Morrison, Rosie Scott Massie, Josie Beszant and Ian Scott Massie will all displaying and demonstrating work at Artison, while printmaker Hester Cox will be working from her own studio in Masham.
Just outside Masham at Mickley are Anna Poulton and Stuart Whitehead.
Also in Masham during the open studios weekend is Masham Gallery’s exhibition “Close to Home” showcasing more local artists raising money for Herriot Hospice Homecare.
